Our Classes

Next Cycle Begins on January 14th

Tiger Tots:

These classes are perfect for the early integration of martial arts into young students ages 5 – 6.  It focuses on developing discipline, respect, eye focus, flexibility, strength and coordination.  It will give them a foundation in martial arts training, as well as all around movement, and will improve all other athletics pursued in their life.  There are three ten-week cycles throughout the school year available (Fall, Winter, and Spring).

Karate Kids:

These classes are designed to teach students ages 7 – 12 the traditional art of Soo Bahk Do (Korean Karate). Students will develop discipline, respect, eye focus, flexibility, strength & coordination. They will be taught the standard curriculum put forth by the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Fed. which includes self-defense, forms, and sparring. Students obtain certification for each rank obtained. There are three ten-week cycles available throughout the school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring), as well as summer programs for color belts.

Adults:

Traditional Martial Arts (Soo Bahk Do): These classe are for men and women of all ages and abilities (ages 13 on up). We teach the traditional art of Soo Bahk Do (Korean Karate). We emphasize breathing, passive and active stretching, strength, mobility and balance in the gradual integration of learning martial arts techniques which include self-defense, forms, and sparring. Additionally, we integrate East Asian philosophy into our training with the goal of improving our character both on and off the mat. Students obtain certification for each rank obtained. The goal is for students to optimize their health and performance, learn solid self-defense fundamentals, and improve their character. Classes are available throughout the year.
Therapeutic Martial Arts: These classes are for men and women of all ages. We focus on the therapeutic elements of martial arts training such as breathing techniques, active/passive stretching, strength and balance. The goal is in optimizing health and performance. These classes are excellent for tuning one’s body and mind up, improving athleticism, alleviating chronic pain in the body, and overall feeling better. These classes are available throughout the year on a private/semi-private basis.

Therapeutic Martial Arts:

These classes are for men and women of all ages. We focus on the therapeutic elements of martial arts training such as breathing techniques, active/passive stretching, strength and balance. The goal is in optimizing health and performance. These classes are excellent for tuning one’s body and mind up, improving athleticism, alleviating chronic pain in the body, and overall feeling better. These classes are available throughout the year on a private/semi-private basis.
